Our programme of research and evaluation is helping to create the evidence base to support effective changes in policy and recognises the need for benefits to be realised through successful implementation. We have conducted a wide range of research in both public and private prisons including an evaluation of education and training programmes, an evaluation of drug markets and an evaluation of psychotherapeutic interventions.

  • An evaluation of the National Offender Management Model Pathfinder, commissioned by the
    Home Office.
  • An evaluation of the Dedicated Drug Courts Pilot for the Department for Constitutional Affairs.
  • A study into the feasibility of undertaking Randomised Control Trials on a number of Home
Office accredited programmes running in the criminal justice system.
