Dedicated Drugs Court

The Ministry of Justice commissioned Matrix, in partnership with Urban Institute to undertake an independent process evaluation of Dedicated Drug Courts.

The Ministry of Justice commissioned Matrix Knowledge Group, in partnership with Urban Institute and supported by leading academics from the Universities of Stirling, Sheffield, Cambridge and Kent, to undertake an independent process evaluation of Dedicated Drug Courts (DDC). The findings of the process evaluation can be found in the published process report.

The publication of this report coincided with the Lord Chancellor & Secretary of State for Justice, Jack Straw, announcement to expand Dedicated Drug Courts to four more sites. You can download the Ministry of Justice news release here.
